Students should have experience with building simple games in Scratch, including how, add sprites and backgrounds, to control sprites with the keyboard or mouse, and have sprites interact with other sprites or background (i.e. create a score counter).

Learn to build advanced games using Scratch! Building on what was learned in Adventures in Scratch, students will learn more complex and real world aspects of computer programming. Games created will include multiple levels, multiple enemies, realistic gravity, and more! Best of all is games created in class can be shared with friends and family!

My 4th or 5th grade child has permission to walk home. (Please note, students who do not have walking permission (including all 1st – 3rd grade students) must be picked up at the ES Canopy OR contact the BASC Director at for walking permission.

I am interested in volunteering my time to help with daily After School Program procedures. You may assist for one day or potentially up to four.

Refund Policy *

I understand there are no refunds once clubs have commenced. Students may only move between clubs during the first week of the semester and with the approval of the BASC team.
